The Latin American and Caribbean Symposium on Education,
Science and Culture in the Information Society SIMPLAC
2002 is ready to begin.
More than 500 participants and
80 lecturers will be present during the symposium.
Latin American and Caribbean Symposium: "The
Education, the Science and Culture in the Information
Society" will be held this year in the Conventions
Palace of Havana, Cuba, from the 18th to the 21th
of February. It will emphasize in the topics of policies
of the Information Society, regulatory framework and
practical experiences for the mass information on
society informatic culture.
This event, sponsored by the Ministry of Informatics
and Communications of Cuba and UNESCO, will gather
to more than 500 participants and 80 national and
international lecturers of high level.
